Vacancy: Partner Liaison Officer

About this position: This person would be responsible for maintaining relationships with partner organisations and participants who attend DDP events and workshops to: • To assess social impact of our work • Develop and maintain our existing networks of partners and associates • Provide feedback to the rest of the project team about necessary changes and opportunities to develop new partnerships

Inter alia, responsibilities will include:

  1. Follow up with participants regarding the impact of the intervention/workshop/event in terms of their work in relation to the communities they serve
  2. Partner visits to maintain the relationships and gather information for case studies as well as to capture stories of change
  3. Feedback to other members of project team about findings (needs/possibilities and opportunities for further collaboration

About the Person

  • This position will suit an ambitious, confident, community minded individual, who is comfortable in working in diverse environments with a range of partners
  • Will have the necessary inter personal skills to deal with a diverse group of partners
  • Proficient in both English and isiZulu languages (written and spoken)
  • Above average writing and reporting skills

Salary package:

The gross salary for this position is R10,000 per month and subject to a 3-month probation.
