“I am a Child and Youth Development practitioner, an Activator, YALI Alumni, a Civic Education facilitator, an advocate, a change driver,  a mother,  a social entrepreneur and feminist”

Founder and Director of Ubuhle Bentsha Development Centre, the secretary for the Newlands SAPS Youth Desk and the KZN youth Forum coordinator for the National Association for Child and Youth Care Workers (NACCW).  My passion lies very much on the holistic development of children and youth, hence my organization Ubuhle Bentsha Development Centre builds programmes that assist the enhancement of our young people’s existing strengths whilst ensuring that they grow to self-sufficient young people.

Being a convener of citizen gatherings and an associate facilitator of DDP hold values of accountability: that I am now part of not just my organization brand but as well as of DDP,  that my actions and information shared is for the benefit of the people and of no harm to the entities I represent.  That my loyalties and integrity should be on good standing with my team and should be discreet and transparen at all times,  that I should hold myself and the communities I serve with respect as a representative of the organisation. Being part of an entity as DDP to me means personal growth,  networking of knowing diverse people of different callabos,  backgrounds,  experiences and skills.
