Afrobarometer 2018 Survey 3rd South Africa data release: South African’s perceptions of the country’s economic conditions and overall direction

The release of the Afrobarometer 2018 survey data on South African’s assessments of their personal economic conditions, lived poverty and perceptions of the country’s economic conditions and overall direction. This will be the third release of Afrobarometer round 7 data on South Africa. This release event will include a presentation, a question and answer session and interviews can be conducted after the release. Mrs Anyway Chingwete, Afrobarometer project manager for Southern Africa, will present the data. Please confirm your attendance by 22 February 2019.

The program is aiming at engaging youth and youth organizations in critical reflection of their work and the state of youth in community, do assessment of skills and knowledge gaps, create a network for youth workers whose experience can be harnessed and shared, empower and equip the youth with relevant skills such as entrepreneurial skills, team work skills and leadership skills, create the platform to engage on the issues young people are facing in communities, to also create a platform for young people to engage and build sustainable partnership with stakeholders.
