The workshop was attended by youth organisations from around KwaZulu-Natal who are also part of the DDP Youth Desk.

According to DDP Project Coordinator Brian Bhengu, this workshop is one of the many projects that the organisation has which is aimed at equipping these young organisations with the skills and resources that can help them achieve their goals and uplift their communities.

According to youth leaders these workshops are very helpful in their organisations, they help them plan and come up with strategies that will help them grow their organisations.

Sihle Phungula from the Door To Door Foundation, says that he is attending the DDP workshop for the second time and the standard is always high in-terms of the content and knowledge.

He said: “These workshops help us build a network, to be able to meet other people that are doing the same thing as us which is empowering the community. It professionalizes and capacitate the work that we do”.
