The Democracy Development Program (DDP) held a strategic workshop for the KZN Society for the Blind. The workshop took place at the society’s offices in Mbilo on 2-3 Marc.

The Democracy Development Program (DDP) held a strategic workshop for the KZN Society for the Blind. The workshop took place at the society’s offices in Mbilo on 2-3 Marc. DDP Project Coordinator Sthembiso Madlala facilitated the workshop.

The focus was on coming up with new strategies that will grow the organisation and ensure that it maintains its role in the society and also to bring in more funders in the organisation.

Unpacking and analysing the word strategy, description and understanding of the word.

The attendees were major contributors to the workshop, as they also gave a deep history of the organisation, when it was founded and by whom.

There were group discussions and group works that were given an excise to test the progress of the workshop.

The group was made up of normal and visually impaired individuals who are very active citizens.
