Unpacking the aftermaths of the 2019 NPE

After a dizzying period of campaigning, political mudslinging, court cases and eventually allegations of impropriety, the 2019 National and Provincial Elections has finally come to an end.

As the dust continues to settle, and the entire country eases back into normalcy – with a hope that it won’t be much of the same – the Democracy Development Program (DDP) will convene citizens and civil society, in Durban to unpack the 2019 election process and its aftermath.

Well-known scholar and political analyst Lukhona Mnguni unpacked this narrative at the DDP Public Political Forum on Thursday 06 June 2019 at Maharani Hotel.

Director of  KRCC Mxolisi Nyuswa provided an analysis of the violence monitoring mission report for the elections and DDP's Senior Programs Officer Brian Mhlongo together with DDP partners presented the DDP's  Domestic Observer Mission Report.

The forum was attended by politicians, civil society, youth and the 2019 election observers.
