The Lindelani Youth Forum and the DDP took the initiative to host a dialogue to celebrate and educate the community on deaf people and their rights.
The lack of recognition, acceptance and respect for the deaf people’s culture and linguistic identity prevents them from enjoying full human rights. This lack of knowledge is an added challenge to an already existing problem that leads to deaf people feeling isolated in the community.
The Lindelani Youth Forum and the DDP took the initiative to host a dialogue to celebrate and educate the community on deaf people and their rights. This took place on 20 March 2017 at the Intuzuma Hall.
