The Democracy Development Program (DDP) in partnership with the Pietermaritzburg Agency for Community Social Action (Pacsa, an NGO based in PMB, and works on issues of human rights and socio-economic justice through strengthening Civil Society actions for social transformation) hosted a Multi-party dialogue on the upcoming 6th general elections with an aim to create a space where the public and youth could engage constructively on the general election which is meant to take place on the 8th May 2019.
The event was held at uMsunduzi Museum in Pietermaritzburg on the 25th April 2019. The dialogue was facilitated by DDP’s Senior Programs Officer, Brian Mhlongo. The panel consisted of 3 political parties, namely; United Democratic Movement (UDM), National Freedom Party (NFP) and the African National Congress (ANC).
