FREEDOM MONTH ON LOCKDOWN: ONLINE DIALOGUE

On the 30^th of April 2020 Africa Unite in partnership with Lindelani Youth Forum and Democracy Development Program had an online dialogue in commemoration of the Freedom Day. The purpose of the dialogue was to unpack on what Freedom Day or month mean to a young person, whether the freedom day still carries the same significance today as it was in the past 15 years and how people feel commemorating this day under lockdown. The online dialogue was attended by 22 participants from Lindelani, Dassenhoek, Morningside, Reservoir Hills, Umkomaas, Ntuzuma, KwaMashu, Chatsworth, Inanda, Hammarsdale, Bhamshela, Wentworth, Gauteng, North west and Northern Cape.
