Other work includes community, youth and women development, which means women have an opportunity to celebrate and reflect on women’s achievements, as well as the problems they have faced in the struggle to be free and the important role they continue to play in society.

What does women month mean to you?

It’s important to celebrate women’s month / day as  it draws attention to significant issues African women still face, such as parenting, domestic violence, sexual harassment in the workplace, enquality to name a few.
