The Democracy Development Program in partnership with the uMngeni Unemployed Graduates Forum (MUGF) and Africa Unite hosted a Mayoral engagement at the Howick West Community Hall on 7th February 2022.
This engagement created a platform for Mayoral executives, Municipal Manager, Local young people, Young Social and Political activists to engage in progressive Sustainable Development for young people of uMngeni Municipality with the aim of ensuring meaningful and constructive development that speaks to young people.
The event was attended by Umngeni Municipality Mayor, Christopher Pappas, Deputy Mayor Sandile Mnikathi, and Youth manager Sphesihle Mkhasibe.
