University of Cape Town PhD candidate, and DDP parliamentary program intern, Nyasha Mpani

Nyasha Mpani is a sociology and development studies graduate from the University of Cape Town and currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Cape Town. He joined DDP In August 2021 and works as a Parliamentary Program Assistant whose role is to help set up the organization’s Parliamentary unit. Prior to joining DDP, Nyasha worked as a Parliamentary Monitor for  Parliamentary Monitoring Group (PMG) which is based in Cape Town. His interest in parliamentary issues was triggered by his stint at the Southern African Parliamentary Support Trust where he got Parliamentary knowledge and experience. During his spare time, Nyasha loves traveling and sightseeing. He recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Developmental Studies.
