DDP’s Communications Strategist, Yanga Malotana graduated with her BA in Political Science Honours in May 2022 from the University of Pretoria. She is currently pursuing her MA in Political Science degree at the University of Pretoria. She has been awarded the Andrew W. Mellon Scholarship for her studies. Her current research focuses on energy poverty and the renewable energy system in South Africa. She has also done research projects for the Schar School of Governance and Policy in partnership with George Mason University. Yanga is also a part-time assistant lecturer in Political Philosophy & Democratic Analysis at the University of Pretoria. DDP is proud to have her on the team and looks forward to witnessing more of her accomplishments.
