OSF: Capacity building workshop

Democracy Development program in partnership with the Open Society Foundation hosted a capacity-building workshop at Mpophomeni community hall, Mngeni  Municipality on 22 September 2022. The workshop was done under the project’s theme- Enhancing young people’s capacity to improve youth development outcomes.

The capacity-building workshop was done in partnership with uMngeni Unemployed Graduates Forum, a youth-led organization within this municipality.

• Project Objectives

• Capacitate young people’s knowledge to advance the youth development agenda
• Develop a well-capacitated youth that can hold those in power accountable, to sustain the principles of the rule of law
• To advance young people’s understanding of policy, public participation, advocacy, and lobbying

The targeted group for this workshop is young people leading and running NPOs, unemployed youth and aspiring young business owners, etc.
