Delegates at the Women dialogue at Ubuhlebezwe Local Municipality.

In partnership with Ubuhlebezwe Local Municipality and the Department of Social Development, DDP co-hosted a dialogue with women in the community of Sangcwaba. The theme of this activity was ‘women as agents of change, advancing gander representation through community engagement’. Through the different presentations and discussions, we were able to engage with women on aspects around democracy, leadership, and equality as well as how these structures work best for them.
