The Democracy Development Program (DDP) and the Centre for the Advancement of Non-Racialism and Democracy (CANRAD) are honored to have hosted the “Reflecting on Elections” stakeholder engagement under the esteemed Elections Integrity Project. This pivotal event, proudly funded by the Canadian High Commission, underscores our collective dedication to upholding the integrity of elections—a fundamental pillar of democracy.
On 18 July 2024, we convened in the vibrant city of Durban, KZN, bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders committed to the democratic process. The engagement continued with equal fervor at the Nelson Mandela University in the Eastern Cape on 24 July 2024. These gatherings served as a platform for robust discussions, insightful exchanges, and the sharing of best practices to enhance electoral integrity.
Our journey towards electoral transparency and fairness is marked by these significant engagements. We believe that through collaborative efforts and shared knowledge, we can confront challenges and foster an electoral environment that truly reflects the will of the people.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, speakers, and supporters who made these events a resounding success. Your contributions are invaluable to the mission of promoting fair and just elections.
Let us continue to champion the cause of election integrity, for #DemocracyMatters.
