Miss Tyesha Pillay
Tyesha Pillay is a Political Communications Strategist with a strong academic and practical background in political science and public engagement. She holds a Master of Arts in Political Science and is currently pursuing her PhD at the University of Pretoria, where her research focuses on the intersection of political communication and democracy in the Global South.
The Democracy Development Program (DDP) aims to deepen the practice of democracy in South Africa. We build strong and active communities that can hold those in power to account. Since our beginning in 1993 we have achieved this mission.
