Miss. Yolokazi Mfuto

Yolokazi Mfuto is a development practitioner and a political analyst who is passionate about the struggle against socio-economic, political and health challenges that affect young people. She holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Communication, History and Political Sciences, an honours degree in Political Sciences and International Relations both from the University of Fort Hare. She also has a certificate in Project Management and currently pursuing Master in Multidisciplinary Human Rights at the University of Pretoria.

She has worked with the University of Fort Hare as an assistant in the Student Affairs Division focusing on Student Governance and Development responsible for developing training programs for SRCs, Student forums and societies. She further worked with the United Nations Population Fund Agency in the Adolescent and Youth portfolio focusing on establishing relations with stakeholders and develop programs for Youth and Adolescents. Recently she worked the University of Pretoria , Centre for Human Rights at the Pan African Parliament in the Committees Unit.

Yolokazi has published papers with national newspapers on Politics, governance, and development, provides political commentary and serve in youth focused boards across the continent.
