DDP, SIDP Multi-Stakeholder Meeting
Under the theme “Strengthening strategic partnerships towards promoting inclusive governance and facilitating sustainable community interrelationships”, the DDP’s SIDP project hosted a multi-stakeholder meeting.
The meeting was held at the Edward Hotel in Durban on 8 February 2024, and was aimed at:
Objectives:
- To create a platform for connection through activities
- To bring together two communities and political leadership to facilitate inclusive governance.
- To promote the rights of the Migrants (refugees and asylum seekers)
- To raise awareness about human rights violations
- To shape the opportunities, attitudes, and behavior of individuals and families
The Democracy Development Program (DDP) aims to deepen the practice of democracy in South Africa. We build strong and active communities that can hold those in power to account. Since our beginning in 1993 we have achieved this mission.
