The Democracy Development Program (DDP) hosted a community dialogue under the support of the Social Justice initiative, focusing on the critical intersections of Elections, Human Rights, and Governance. Held on March 6, 2024, at the eThekwini TVET College, this event provided a platform for robust discussions, insightful reflections, and collaborative engagement aimed at fostering a more inclusive and participatory democracy.

SJI Inception Workshop
DDP hosted an Inception workshop on 18 February 2025 at the DDP Seminar Room. The workshop aimed to mobilize citizens and civil society for active participation in elections as voters and observers, and to strengthen civil society's capabilities in creating a united network of organizations working on voter mobilization and election observation. This initiative is particularly focused on the lead-up to the 2026 Local Government elections. The event was fully funded by the Social Justice Initiative.
